Video - Greyson Chance Home Video Singing “Broken Hearts” Before He Got Famous!

Most of us by now have heard of Greyson Chance and probably seen him on Ellen or another TV show.

But what was Greyson like BEFORE he got famous?

The home video below shows Greyson at his house in Edmond Oklahoma recording a video of him playing one of his first original songs called “Broken Hearts” on the family piano.

Greyson’s comments when he uploaded it were,
“A song that I wrote. The lyrics and music are all by me. It still needs lots of work but tell me what you think!”
Wow, just think – when he was recording this he had no idea that within a few years he would be releasing his own album “Hold On ‘Til The Night”.

Greyson sure has come a long way since those days!

But wait! There’s more….

We also found a video where GC talks about writing the song and who he wrote it for! He says he was “kicked to the curb” by a couple of girls so he decided to write “Broken Hearts”.

But wait! There is even more!!

We also found a video of Greyson performing “Broken Hearts” live on the Ellen show when he was only 12-years-old – when he was first discovered by Ellen.

You can tell he had polished and perfected the original and was now ready for prime time!

BTW, this is also the episode of Ellen when she told the audience that she was signing Greyson to her eleveneleven record label and gave him a check for $10,000

It’s kind of neat seeing the progression from early stage to life TV!

We suspect that with over 7 million views that a lot of Greysonators have already seen this home video but we wanted to post it for those who have been asking for early home videos of original songs.
