NEW VIDEO - Behind the Scenes Special Footage From “Hold on ‘til the Night” Music Video

Greyson Chance has just released a special behind the scenes video titled “The Making of Hold On ‘Til The Night”.

We love watching these behind the scenes type of videos because it really gives you an insight as to what it takes to pull off the production of a large scale music video and what is going through the minds of the artist and crew.

The music video for “Hold on ‘til the Night” was shot in black and white as an artistic statement and there is a lot of innuendo and imagery used.

Greyson says,

“This song is really special to me, when we were writing it in the studio it was about being strong and courageous. We have some really weird things going on – we have trees growing through pianos and we have light bulbs flashing everywhere. Each kid is a light bulb and each kid is a little beacon of hope.”

The video will be premiered this Friday on the Ellen show where Greyson will make an appearance with Lady Gaga.

There has also been speculation that Greyson and Lady Gaga are planning some type of duet or collaboration in the near future and Greyson was put on the spot yesterday on the “Good Day LA” morning show when asked about it. He may have let the cat out of the bag!

You can see Greyson squirm when pushed on the Gaga issue and there is clearly something that he is not able to tell us yet.

Greyson Chance hit up the Grove last night for an interview with “Extra” television - but all the buzz was about his new haircut, a possible duet with Lady Gaga, his possible role on Glee, and his new music video being released this Friday!

Earlier in the day, Greyson visited the set of “Good Day LA” where he dished on a possible collaboration with Lady Gaga and talked about his appearance on “Raising Hope”.

But the big news was Greyson’s hair and his new haircut!

His fans seem to be split about 50/50 whether they like his old hair style or his new hair style better. We think he looks good ANY way he chooses to style his hair and we have some GREAT pictures of his new cut.

Before the interview, Greyson attended a small dinner party with Pop Star Magazine where he met his old friends Ariana Grande and Cody Simpson, and made a new friend when he met Kendall Jenner.

Greyson will next make an appearance on the Ellen show this Friday along with Lady Gaga to announce the release of his new music video for “Hold on ‘til the Night”.

Video - Greyson Chance Interview on the Set of his New “HOTTN” Music Video

Greyson Chance Backstage Interview With Vanessa Mujica

Greyson Chance looked dapper wearing his black leather jacket on the set of his new “Hold On ‘Til The Night” music video shoot.

The singer took some time to talk to Vanessa Mujica over at Starpulse and says the entire music video was filmed in black and white and will have a very artistic look and feel to it.

Greyson says we will see things in his new music video that have not been done before by any other pop artist and he is excited for his fans to see the final results.

He also talked about how the song “Hold On ‘Til The Night” came about, why he wrote it, and the meaning of the lyrics.

Things then turned funny when he was asked if there was a secret talent that he had that nobody new about.


Smart kid. Cute Kid. Humble Kid. But once again we see that the kid just does not like to dance!

Greyson is currently overseas visiting his Asian fans but will return later this month just in time for his second appearance on “Raising Hope”.

Greyson Chance Releases Details of His SINGAPORE Appearance Next Week!

Greyson Chance is heading to Singapore next week!

Greyson Chance is hitting the road - kind of.

Greyson will be in Singapore next week to celebrate the release of his new album “Hold on ‘Til The Night” and will be performing for his fans in a special showcase.

This trip is NOT part of Greyson’s winter tour but a special trip to help promote his new album.

The event is being called “The Greyson Chance ‘Hold On Til The Night’ Showcase” and will be held at the Powerhouse, St James Powerstation on Sunday November 13, 2011 at 6:30 pm.

So how do you get in to the show?

Seating is limited and the only way to get in is to purchase a copy of “Hold on ‘Til The Night” Southeast Asia version and show it at the door.

Fans MUST purchase the Asia version CD only and U.S. CD’s will not be accepted.

The Southeast Asia version will say in the fine print on the back of the CD that it is a special “Southeast Asia” version of the record.

This special Asian release also contains Greyson’s new unreleased song “Running Away”.

Only one fan per copy will be allowed entrance and seating is limited. The event is open to all ages.

Greyson will also hold a VIP Meet and Greet after the show to meet his fans, sign autographs, hand out gift bags, and take photos with his fans.

The Asian release of the album went on sale last Friday so if you want to see Greyson you need to go buy the special release and take it to the show.

For a 14-year-old, singer Greyson Chance sure does now how to add a little soul to his music.

Today, we went out looking for a good video of Greyson singing his love song “Cheyenne” and ran across not only a good studio mix, but one of the BEST extended interviews we think he has ever given!

Last month as a kick-off to his album release for “Hold On ‘Til The Night”, Greyson sat down with Billboard.com and talked about everything from his first kiss, Harry Potter, working in the studio, writing songs, his piano, touring, meeting famous people, and being famous.

It really is one of the best interviews we have ever seen – we learned so much from it.

There are just too many topics covered to go into them all so we’re just going to lay out the music video for “Cheyenne” and then the various parts of the interview below.

You won’t be disappointed.


During the interview below Greyson talks about what inspires him and his love for his mentors Lady Gaga and Nick Jonas.

He talks about the people he has met on the road including the President of the United States when he performed for the Easter Egg Roll.

And finally he takes a TON of questions from his twitter followers who asked questions about when he first realized that he had the gift of singing, song writing, and learning to play the piano.

Most of his TV appearances and internet video clips are wham bam and over in 60 seconds.

Now Greyson is getting ready to hit the road again later this month for free shows at the Hard Rock Café, and rumor is he will be releasing a Christmas song sometime in late November.
