VIDEO - Greyson Chance Returns To “Raising Hope” In Lead Up To Season Finale

Greyson Chance is returning to Raising Hope this week and will be appearing alongside special guest Nancy Grace!

Season 2 episode 21 is titled “Inside Probe” and is sure to be a nail biting lead up to this season finale.

Trouble for the Chance family on "Inside Probe"

In “Inside Probe” it seems the Hope family is back in the hot seat again as famed lawyer Nancy Grace decides to dig deeper into the facts surrounding Jimmy’s executed girlfriend – and Hopes real mother.

Remember, in the series plot Jimmy’s baby momma was executed just after Hope was born and that’s how Jimmy came to be a single father raising a baby.


Baby Hope’s mother, Lucy Carlisle will be played by actress Bijou Phillips and Greyson Chance will appear in another flashback moment portraying young Jimmy Chance playing his song "Cheyenne".

Greyson introduces himself on a video submission to "Star Search" as James Bon Jovi Chance - unaware that Star Search went off the air ten years ago and the family had been watching reruns!

Famous lawyer Nancy Grace will appear as an investigative reporter who is digging deep into the facts surrounding Hope’s mother’s crimes and her ultimate execution.

Nancy interviews each of the Chance family members in her effort to get to the bottom of what really happened - and what really went wrong.




Raising Hope Season 2 Episode 21 - “Inside Probe” episode will air April 10, 2012 at 9:30/8:30C on FOX.

This episode is a lead up to next week’s season finale and marks the end of this season’s appearances by Greyson Chance.

Greyson Chance will appear in his second “Raising Hope” episode on FOX this coming Tuesday, and the Greyson Chance Forum has scored one of the first looks at the new episode promos!

All we know so far is that Greyson’s character of “Little Jimmy” is the victim of a bully and he is seen wearing a woman’s blouse.

I guess we’ll just have to wait for the upcoming episode to learn why he is dressed in women’s cloths!


We have also seen a few behind the scenes photos of Greyson on the set while filming his new episode titled “The Men From Natesville”.

We can’t wait to see who this Tommy Bitzleburger character is….

It looks like there may not be any singing in this episode but that’s fine – we are excited to see Greyson away from the stage and piano and dive into the beginnings of an acting career.

New Greyson Chance Pictures of His Upcoming “Raising Hope” Episodes

When we last saw our hero Greyson Chance on the TV show “Raising Hope”, he played the younger version of Jimmy – who could sing and play the piano like a rock star.

Then, in an unfortunate mishap he was hit in the head by a stray golf club and lost his God given talents and memory until an old home video surfaced.

It was a great episode, and one of the highest rated for the FOX network since the program started airing.

But what a lot of people don’t realize is that Greyson has a multiple episode deal with the network assuring that he will be seen in at least THREE episodes in total.

Now, we don’t know how the network plans to advance the plot but everything is in place for at least two more fantastic episodes – and we have a couple of top secret photos to prove it.

Greyson has tweeted that he will get beat up in his next appearance and that the shirt he is wearing in the pictures is a woman's blouse. Really? Greyson wearing a woman's shirt?

Greyson took to twitter to explain,

"Check out a pic of me on the set of Raising Hope! Will you be watching on Tuesday?? If your wondering why I am wearing a blouse in the next RH, it was all @GarretDillahunt's idea. He thinks I look good in women's clothing..."

Obviously the writers will have to continue with the flashback concept and we’re sure they will find a way to keep the humor going as long as possible.

In fact, we had never watched the show until we heard Greyson was going to be making an appearance and have since fallen in love with the series and now watch it every week.

Video - Greyson Chance Shows Us His Own Version of “Hard To Handle” - Kids Got Style!

After last night’s episode of “Raising Hope”, everybody was amazed at how Greyson Chance was able to pull of the blues piano and vocals of “Hard to Handle”.

“Hard to Handle” was written and recorded in 1968 by Otis Redding and has since become a blues favorite by bands around the World.

In fact, “The Black Crows” did a version of the hit on their 1990 album “Shake Your Money Maker”.

And last night Greyson showed us how it’s done!

During “Raising Hope” we only got to see a little snippet of his complete composition.

Today Greyson sent out a tweet saying,

“Hope you guys loved Raising Hope as much as I did! I filmed my version of 'Hard To Handle', tell me what u think (:”

Now, tell me this kids not going places.

If he is only 14-years-old and able to crank out stuff like this just imagine what he’ll be able to do when he’s 18-years-old.

Video - Greyson Chance Sings the Blues on Raising Hope – Video Extras

A few things we learned yesterday.

One, Raising Hope is a funny TV show, and Two – Greyson Chance can sing the blues!

Now we wish we could provide more video but FOX does not allow embedding full episode videos.

But they did release a couple special previews and video extras from the episode “Prodigy”.

In this episode, Greyson Chance plays the younger version of Jimmy who could sing and play the piano. But during a trip to the putt-putt course was hit in the head with a golf club and “forgets” how to play and sing.

The entire episode revolves around the cast trying to get the adult Jimmy to remember how to play.


So, what song did Greyson sing on his first episode of Raising Hope? "Hard to Handle" by Otis Redding!

Greyson’s role in the show is all through old home video taken when Jimmy was only 13-years-old.

Young Jimmy’s prodigy ability to sing and play piano was the pride of the family, and they never told him what had happened that night during the golf game.




Now, for those who did not see the show, FOX will be unlocking the full episode 8 days after it airs. So, sometime next week you can see the entire episode there.

Greyson Chance and the producers of “Raising Hope” have just released a behind the scenes promo video of his upcoming appearance on the show next week.

Greyson and the stars talk about what it was like to have Greyson on the show – and these guys are funny and working on set must have been a blast.

This is one of the coolest videos we have seen and some of the funniest comments are from Cloris Leachman who plays the grandmother “Maw Maw”


You can catch the season premiere on September 20th 8:30 central on FOX.

In the first episode Greyson plays the younger version of “Jimmy” played by Lucas Neff who was apparently a child prodigy when he was young.

It really looks like it’s going to be a great show.

Okay all you Greyson Chance fans – it’s here!

The first official commercial showing Greyson in the upcoming “Raising Hope” TV show is out.

The tilte for the first show is “Prodigy” and Greyson will play the younger version of the shows star.

The show will show Greyson in flashbacks as they cast members “look back” at what could have been.



This is Greyson’s first show at a network television show and he says it was a blast but music is still his first love.

We gotta say, we wouldn’t mind seeing him in a TV show every now and then as long as he keeps up with his music career.

Way to go Greyson!

Greyson Chance to Appear on “Raising Hope” Episodes

Good news for Raising Hope and Greyson Chance fans!

This September 20th Fox kicks of a new season of their hit comedy “Raising Hope” and young singer Greyson Chance is slated to make several appearances.

The details are a bit sketchy but we know that Greyson is scheduled to play a semi-recurring character named Jimmy who apparently is very good at playing piano and a talented singer – in fact, he is a child prodigy.

Go figure!

His character is the younger version of the main character as seen through flashbacks during the season.

The sitcom revolves around the character Jimmy Chance who finds himself raising his daughter as a single father after the mother ends of in jail.

The entire family tries to help but things usually end up going wrong. The funniest character is Maw Maw and is played by funny lady Cloris Leachman.

Greyson will be seen in not only the premier episode airing on September 20th but in as many as three episodes total.


Evertbody on the cast and crew said it was a blast having Greyson on set and that he was welcome back anytime he wanted.

Greyson says,

“What I love about his episode is there are some happy moments, there are some sad moments, there are some annoyed moments. It's just a very heartwarming episode. It also has a very cool twist, which I love too."

While Greyson admits he loved filming his parts and being on the show –his first love is still, and always will be music.

That’s good because his new album “Hold On ‘Til The Night” is selling well and he just got done touring with Cody Simpson.

After taking a little time off you can expect to see Greyson back out on the road in September doing free shows at Hard Rock Café’s around the country.

He will also hit the road later this year on a mini concert tour but will swing into high gear next year with a more robust tour schedule.
