Greyson Chance Performs at Annual MDA Telethon

Pop singer and teen idol Greyson Chance is doing his part to support charity.

Sunday night he performed his hit “Unfriend You” at the annual Muscular Dystrophy Labor Day Telethon.

While the telethon was shortened this year and famed host Jerry Lewis was only present for a short appearance, the charity still managed to raise millions of dollars for their cause.

Prior to his live appearance, Chance sent out a tweet and picture of him back stage saying,

“Just met up with Voca Peopla - About to go on. Tune in! #MDAtelethon”

The Voca People are a strange performance group who describe themselves as friendly aliens from the planet Voca located somewhere behind the sun, where all communication is made by music and vocal expressions.

But Greyson was in good company as other performers included Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson, and Jordin Sparks.

For now Greyson has a little time off after his release of “Hold On ‘Til The Night”.

His next appearance will be at the York Fair Grandstand in York, Pennsylvania on September 24.

He will also be appearing on the TV sitcom “Raising Hope” later this month in what could turn into a multiple episode role.
