VIDEO: Greyson Chance Performs “Sunshine and City Lights” For the First Time at Girl Scout Party!

Singer Greyson Chance performed for a group of Girl Scouts attending the “100th Anniversary Birthday Celebration” on Saturday in Eugene Oregon at the Linn County Fairgrounds - and he had a surprise for them!

Greyson performed his new song “Sunshine & City Lights” off his upcoming new album live for the first time in public – and his fans went wild.

Speculation had been running high ever since Greyson started leaking snippets of lyrics from the new song using the twitter hash tag #scl – and it only took a few days before his fans had figured out what #scl stood for - Sunshine & City Lights.

Greyson's performance on Saturday August 11, 2012 was part of the Girl Scouts “100th Birthday Celebration Concert” that also included performances by singers Savannah Outen and Coco Jones.

The celebration party also included tons of great activity booths, a historical fashion show, birthday cakes, meet and greets, and more before kicking things into high gear with the concert.

The scout leaders also partnered with Oil Can Henry's to do some big giveaways at the event using Twitter.

And there were some BIG prizes - including gift certificates, meet and greets with Greyson, the opportunity to meet a few Radio Disney personalities, music and CDs, a Nintendo DS3, and more.

Greyson will be performing later this month on August 29th 2012 in Vancouver B.C. at “The Fair" at the Pacific National Exhibition.

There is still no word on the release date of Greyson’s new album or firm dates and locations of a Fall U.S. tour but we suspect now that he is performing some of his new material that this information will be out soon.
