Greyson Chance and Michael Warren took some time Friday night to visit the MTV studios at the Sentosa Waterfront Studios in Singapore to tape an MTV Unplugged Sessions performance that will be broadcast in December.
Greyson delighted his fans on arrival to Singapore when he was seen wearing new glasses that many say makes him look more mature and handsome!
Greyson performed songs from his first album “Hold on ‘til the Night” and from his new EP “Truth Be Told Part 1” ending with a great performance of “Sunshine & City Lights”.
After a brief introduction by the host VJ Mike, and the customary background on Greyson’s career and how he got to where he is, the video recaps and highlights Greyson’s adventures while in Bangkok Thailand during his 2012 Asian Tour.
There are snippets from his television appearances, his concert showcase and meet and greet, and a full segment with Greyson learning how to Thai box with Mike at the Bangkok Fight Club!
The boxing segment starts at about 11:00 into the video.

We think it’s interesting that in Greyson’s record contract there is a clause that says he never has to appear wearing shorts.
Our conclusion after watching this video several times is that Greyson is indeed a lover, and NOT a fighter.
Greyson Chance on "Fun Music" in Taipei Taiwan 2012
Greyson Chance is already back in the United States resting up after his 2012 Asian Tour but the great TV appearance videos are STILL emerging from his visit.
While in Taiwan, Greyson visited with “Fun Music” in Taipei for an extended TV interview.
Greyson on "Fun Music"
Greyson talks about his Special Asian album release and working with Charice, and about meeting American President Barack Obama.
He also discussed how he tends to like the “Evil” characters in movies and that if he had a superpower he would want to be able to fly!
We also learned that Greyson has NEVER received a B in school before and has always got straight A’s!!! – Way to go Grey Grey!
Greyson on set of Nine Entertainment in Thailand - 2012
Greyson Chance wrapped up his 2012 Asian Tour last week but before leaving he visited with his friends at "Nine Entertain" TV in Bangkok Thailand.
Greyson performed an acoustic version of Lady Gaga’s cover “Paparazzi” and his signature anthem “Hold on ‘Til the Night.”
He then sat down for an interview with the host and showed off his talent for speaking the Thai language and described his experience with the Thai food Tom Yum Goong (Spicy Shrimp Soup).
It was clear he was not prepared for the spices!

While in Bangkok, Greyson also visited a zoo to see the elephants and climbed into the boxing ring dressed in traditional Thai boxing gloves, shorts, and tattoo shirt.
Greyson has completed his Asian tour and is now back in the United States putting the finishing touches on his new album and preparing for his American tour later this year.
You can see all our posts of concert videos, press conferences, radio appearances, and pranks Greyson pulled while on tour at our special blog link “Greyson’s Adventures in Asia 2012”.
We have also uploaded all our “Greyson in Asian” tour photos to individual albums on our Facebook page here.
Greyson Chance may already be back home in Los Angeles, but some of the best quality video of his 2012 Asian Tour is just starting to surface!
Greyson was able to take a vacation day last week after landing in Thailand and went to a zoo, stepped into a boxing ring for a photo shoot, and then performed an acoustic Showcase at the Central Word Plaza for his last show on his tour.
But before leaving Bangkok, Greyson visited with his friends at Channel V Music to perform a couple of his songs from his special Asian edition of “Hold on ‘Til the Night.” He also talked about his experience with meeting Lady Gaga and writing his first album "Hold on 'Til the Night" and how he decided on the name.
Viewers of MTV Taiwan got a surprise last week when the host opened the show speaking English instead of Thai!
The reason?
Singer songwriter Greyson Chance was the shows guest VJ and since Greyson speaks English the show was broadcast in Greyson’s native language.
Greyson actually spoke a little mandarin and talked about his day off in Taipei and playing golf before reviewing the current Top 10 pop music countdown that included songs by “The Wanted”, “One Direction”, “LMFAO”, and his own song “Hold on ‘Til the Night” which was number six on the Top 10!
Greyson Chance appeared on the “Show Biz” television show while in Taiwan last week and seemed to do a pretty good job at speaking a little mandarin!
Greyson was able to speak the mandarin words for “I am handsome” and “I love you”.
He also talked about all the pretty girls in Taiwan and what he looks for in a girl.

Greyson Chance in “The Men From Natesville” on Raising Hope
Greyson Chance will appear in his second “Raising Hope” episode on FOX this coming Tuesday, and the Greyson Chance Forum has scored one of the first looks at the new episode promos!
All we know so far is that Greyson’s character of “Little Jimmy” is the victim of a bully and he is seen wearing a woman’s blouse.
I guess we’ll just have to wait for the upcoming episode to learn why he is dressed in women’s cloths!
We have also seen a few behind the scenes photos of Greyson on the set while filming his new episode titled “The Men From Natesville”.

We can’t wait to see who this Tommy Bitzleburger character is….
It looks like there may not be any singing in this episode but that’s fine – we are excited to see Greyson away from the stage and piano and dive into the beginnings of an acting career.
In case you missed his first episode where he played the piano you can view our list of “Raising Hope” posts at the link below. Just scroll down through the stories to see all the videos, pictures, and summaries of Greyson’s adventure on “Raising Hope” and TV land!
And don’t forget to be watching for the December ‘American Dad” Christmas Special because Greyson will be supplying the voice of one of the characters.
Sometimes when adults try to explain what happens in the life of a teenager it turns out to be an epic fail.
And when they try to comprehend why artists and singers like Greyson Chance and Justin Bieber are so popular they clearly seem confused and unable to understand the phenomenon.
When ABC News set out to document the rise of Greyson’s career they had the opportunity to really do it justice, but we think they fell a little flat in their attempt.
Don’t get us wrong – it is a great video and interview, but you can almost smell the skepticism in adult host Neal Karlinsky’s voice - who, well… just doesn’t seem to understand Greyson’s incredible success so far.
Greyson Performing on Stage
Everything in the interview is real, and Greyson explains things from his heart – but the host just seems confused as to why people love him!
Oh you funny adults….. Don’t you realize yet this has turned into a kid’s world? We run things and you just don’t know it yet.
During the segment Greyson talks about feeling like an oddball while in middle school and how lonely things get when he is on the road.
He also talks about the awkward feeling he gets sometimes when spending all his time around adults and business people.
He also gives us a good look at his tour bus complete with his bunk bed and collection of fan gifts.
Maybe it was just us, but host Neal Karlinsky just didn’t seem to get it at all. Couldn’t you just hear the confusion in his voice?
But we love any Greyson video or interview where we learn something NEW - and we did with this one.
Another good interview where Greyson talks about being lonely while on the road was his interview on 20/20. During that one he actually looked like he was ready to cry when asked if he got lonely. Aww…
Now we just have to wait for the release of his 2011-2012 winter tour schedules and to see if he will actually win a Grammy Award this season for his hard work.
Looks like Greyson Chance is getting another chance at being on TV!
After this week’s appearance on Raising Hope, the 14-year-old singer will be profiled on ABC’s 20/20 television show this Friday (9.23.11) at 9/10c.
His appearance will be part of a segment called “Generation YouTube” that will explore how the popular video site owned by Google has changed the world.
ABC released a press statement saying,
“Everyone from stay-at-home moms to entrepreneurs to musicians to comedians are creating a new or second career and earning income by posting videos on YouTube. No longer do you need an agent or manager to launch a singing career or to publish a book. No longer do you need a company behind you to sell your ideas, products or how-to knowledge.
Six years ago YouTube launched on the web and revolutionized video sharing. What began as a simple idea — allowing anyone to upload and view videos, for free — quickly transformed into a platform that connected the world. Now, YouTube encompasses everything from how-to videos, to entertainment to self-expression to business to citizen journalism. “20/20″ reports on the phenomenon and talks to many whose lives have changed personally and financially from their YouTube success, including singer Greyson Chance.”
For those of you who can’t watch the show just keep your eyes on our site as we will be posting the segment as soon as ABC releases the video.
It usually takes a day or two so be patient! We will send out a tweet once it is available with the details so make sure you follow us on Twitter.
Greyson Chance and the producers of “Raising Hope” have just released a behind the scenes promo video of his upcoming appearance on the show next week.
Greyson and the stars talk about what it was like to have Greyson on the show – and these guys are funny and working on set must have been a blast.
This is one of the coolest videos we have seen and some of the funniest comments are from Cloris Leachman who plays the grandmother “Maw Maw”
You can catch the season premiere on September 20th 8:30 central on FOX.
In the first episode Greyson plays the younger version of “Jimmy” played by Lucas Neff who was apparently a child prodigy when he was young.
It really looks like it’s going to be a great show.
Before taping his segment on “The Ellen Show” he visited with his friends at KTLA in Los Angeles to perform his hit single “Unfriend You”.
It’s funny how people who work on the morning news shows sometimes don’t make the best interviewers – and yesterday was no exception.
Greyson talked about that one phone call that changed his live when Ellen called his mom personally to invite him to California after his “Paparazzi” YouTube video went viral.
Greyson went on to explain what the meaning is behind his song “Unfriend You”, and how his friends back home in Edmond are reacting to his fame.
Interesting note – either the producers needed a shortened version of the song or Greyson skipped a section.
Either way it was great - and remember, it was only 8:30 in the morning and the kid was answering questions and banging out his hit song!
After his interview and performance at KTLA, Greyson travelled to the set of the “Ellen Show” to catch up with Ellen and perform “Unfriend You”.
Our favorite little rock star Greyson Chance made an appearance on “The Ellen Show” on Thursday and talked to Ellen about what it’s like to already have his first album “Hold On ‘Til The Night” completed.
“It’s just so surreal. I’ve been working on this album for a year. After I was on your show the second time I flew back in Los Angeles a week later and was recording records. It’s just so surreal to actually be able to hold the completed album in my hands.”
Greyson says he wrote almost half the songs himself and that he loves being on tour.
He also talked about doing an appearance at a store in Long Island last year and only 200 people showed up – but this year he returned and there were over 2,000 girls screaming to see him!
That’s pretty cool that he goes outside to visit with his fans that can’t get in the see him in person.
We’re also proud of Greyson for having the #2 album on Billboard – only behind Adele.
His performance number on the show was “Unfriend You” and we got to say he is getting more natural performing on stage and it was great!
He also talked about being on “Raising Hope” later this month and they showed a clip from the show.
